Product Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Development Manager to drive the development and launch of our next-generation data center and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a deep understanding of the data center and cloud market, and a proven track record of successfully managing product development lifecycles.

Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy and Roadmap: 

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with market trends, customer needs, and company objectives.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and enhancements.

  • Define product vision, strategy, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Product Development Lifecycle Management: 

  • Lead the entire product development lifecycle from concept to launch, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and launch.

  • Manage product backlog and prioritize features based on business value and customer impact.

  • Create and maintain detailed product documentation, including specifications, user stories, and release notes.

  • Monitor product performance, and make data driven decisions to improve product performance.

• Technical Expertise: 

  • Maintain a deep understanding of data center infrastructure, cloud computing technologies, and related industry trends.

  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance our product offerings.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the product development team.

• Stakeholder Management: 

  • Effectively communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry analysts.   

  • Gather customer feedback and incorporate it into product development decisions.

• Project Management: 

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in the data center or cloud computing industry.   

• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and related technologies.

• Proven track record of successfully managing product development lifecycles.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.   

• Experience with Agile or other relevant project management methodologies.

• Knowledge of virtualisation, networking, and storage technologies.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

• Experience with data center design and operations is a plus

• Certifications in cloud computing or project management.

• Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
