Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic Brand Marketing Manager to develop and strengthen our brand identity within the software application partner ecosystem. This role will focus on crafting consistent brand messaging, elevating our market presence, and building brand equity among software developers and vendors. The ideal candidate will combine creative vision with analytical thinking to position our brand as the preferred integration platform for software partners while ensuring alignment with our overall company identity.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy specifically tailored for the software application partner segment
Create brand positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with technical audiences while maintaining company-wide brand consistency
Oversee the development of brand guidelines for partner marketing materials and co-branding initiatives
Collaborate with software partners to create mutually beneficial brand alignment and co-marketing opportunities
Manage the brand presence at industry events, developer conferences, and partner showcases
Monitor brand perception and awareness among the software development community through research and analytics
Lead brand storytelling initiatives that communicate our platform's unique value proposition to potential partners
Guide the creation of branded content including case studies, success stories, and partner testimonials
Ensure consistent brand experience across all partner touchpoints including portal, documentation, and support materials
Measure and report on brand health metrics within the software partner ecosystem
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management to support evolving business needs and team objectives
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in brand marketing, with at least 1 year focused on technology or B2B brands
Demonstrated success in developing brand strategies for technical audiences
Understanding of software integration concepts and the partner ecosystem landscape
Experience with co-branding initiatives and partnership marketing
Strong portfolio showing successful brand campaigns and messaging frameworks
Proficiency with brand management and measurement tools
Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate brand vision to both technical and business stakeholders
Data-driven approach to brand performance measurement
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building brand strategies for developer platforms or API products
Background in technology marketing with understanding of developer personas
Knowledge of software marketplace dynamics and partner ecosystem branding
Experience with brand positioning in competitive technology markets
Familiarity with technical community building and developer experience concepts
Understanding of how brand influences integration decisions in software partnerships
Tools & Technology Proficiency
Brand management and asset management systems
Market research and brand analytics platforms
Design collaboration tools for working with creative teams
Content management systems for brand content distribution
Social listening and brand monitoring tools
Understanding of developer portals and technical documentation from a branding perspective
Familiarity with community platforms used by software developers
