Responsibilities:
Performance Management Cycle:
Oversee the entire performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
Develop and maintain performance management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Administer and manage the performance management system, ensuring data accuracy and reporting capabilities.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance management processes and best practices.
Goal Setting and Alignment:
Collaborate with department leaders to define and align individual and team goals with organizational objectives.
Facilitate the development of SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals.
Ensure goals are aligned with the company's strategic initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Performance Reviews and Feedback:
Develop and implement performance review templates and processes.
Provide training and support to managers on conducting effective performance reviews and delivering constructive feedback.
Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure consistent application of performance standards across the organization.
Performance Improvement and Development:
Develop and implement performance improvement plans for employees with performance deficiencies.
Collaborate with managers and employees to identify development opportunities and create individual development plans.
Support the implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Work with training department to ensure that training is aligned with performance improvement goals.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Generate and analyze performance data to identify trends and insights.
Prepare reports and presentations on performance management metrics and outcomes.
Use data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement in performance management processes.
Employee Relations:
Address employee concerns related to performance management and provide guidance on resolving performance-related issues.
Ensure fairness and consistency in the application of performance management policies.
Work with the HR team to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
Technology and Data Center Specifics:
Understand the unique performance metrics and competencies required for roles within data center operations and cloud solutions.
Develop performance management strategies that align with the rapid pace of technological advancements in the industry.
Work with technical teams to understand the performance expectations of highly technical roles.
Ensure that security compliance and relevant certifications are considered within performance reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in performance management, preferably in a technology or data center environment.
Strong knowledge of performance management principles, practices, and systems.
Experience with performance management software and HR information systems (HRIS).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in the data center or cloud solutions industry is highly preferred.
Experience with technical performance metrics, talent management and succession planning.
Experience in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
