Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure.
Implement and manage cloud monitoring and alerting systems.
Manage cloud resource utilization and cost optimization.
Cloud Solution Design and Implementation:
Design and implement cloud architectures that meet business requirements.
Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions.
Develop and maintain cloud automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers.
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
Act as a technical point of contact for cloud-related issues.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain cloud security best practices.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Manage Identity and access management within the cloud environments.
Incident Management and Problem Resolution:
Lead incident response and resolution for cloud-related issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Cost Management:
Analyze cloud spending, and provide reporting.
Implement cost optimization strategies.
Forecast future cloud spending.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership and team management experience.
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Experience in a data center environment and hybrid cloud solutions.
